Locate an article in JSTOR. In the left column, JSTOR shows the "stable URL" for the article.
Copy the stable URL.
If you are working offsite, the stable URL may start with https://www-jstor-org.libproxy.estrellamountain.edu/ . If it does, please change it to start to https://www.jstor.org/
In front of the stable URL, add
https://libproxy.estrellamountain.edu/login?url=
The resulting persistent link should look similar to this:
https://libproxy.estrellamountain.edu/login?url=https://www.jstor.org/stable/40890821
