Creating Persistent Links to Library Resources

Films On Demand

Films On Demand provides easy access to persistent URLs for videos and segments within those videos.

While accessing a video, check the page for Share:

Press Share to view a pop up of sharing options.  In the pop up, press Embed/Link to see the link to the video.  If you are viewing a particular segment, the link to that segment will also appear.  You will also see embed code that you can use to embed the video directly into systems like Canvas.

You can also search for and embed Films On Demand videos directly in Canvas.  While creating a new page in Canvas, press the Films On Demand Tool.

Within the tool, search for the video you want to embed and then use one of the options from the Embed drop down to choose how to embed the video in your course.
