CHM 130 & CHM 151: Articles for Lab Write-Up

Utilize the ONE Search tool at the top of the library homepage to search several library databases at the same time. 

• Type your topic into the ONE Search box 
• Select the Articles option at the top of the page
• Select Available online from the left side of the page under Refine your results

*Select additional options as needed

This database contains full-text articles on a variety of chemistry-related topics.

Search Tip: On the beginning search page, always select the "Full Text" box and if you want to view only Scholarly articles, also select the "Peer Reviewed" box.

The Science section of the databases contain additional resources that can assist with your lab write-up.

• Under Find Articles, Books, Ebooks, Videos and More, locate the section titled Science
• In this section, you will find databases such as ScienceDirect and Nature.

Additional Information for when searching ScienceDirect:

The ScienceDirect database contains research articles from a variety of chemistry related publications.

• Under Find Articles, Books, Ebooks, Videos and More, locate the Science section and click on ScienceDirect
• In the "Find articles with these terms" box type in your topic and click Search
• In the left column, under Article type, select: Research articles
• Select any additional Refine by options as needed
• To view full-text articles, look for the articles with green dots that say either "Full text access" or "Open access/Open archive"
