CHM 130 & CHM 151: Articles for Lab Write-Up

Utilize the One Search tool at the top of the library homepage to search several library databases at the same time. 

• Type your topic into the ONE Search box 
• Utilize the filters in the column on the left side of the page to refine your search
• Select these options:

1. Available online
2. Peer-reviewed Journals

*Select additional options as needed

You may need to login with your MEID and Password in order to access these resources off -campus

The ScienceDirect database contains research articles from a variety of chemistry related publications.

• Under Find Articles, Books, Ebooks, Videos and More, locate the Science section
• Click on the database titled ScienceDirect
• In the "Find articles with these terms" box type in your topic and click Search
• In the left column select the "Research articles" box under Article type
• Select any additional options as needed
• To view full-text articles, look for the articles with green dots that say either "Full text access" or "Open access/Open archive" 

The Science section of the databases contain additional resources that can assist with your lab write-up.

• Under Find Articles, Books, Ebooks, Videos and More, locate the section titled Science
• In this section, you will find databases such as Nature and Science
